Barcode generator FAQs

1. Which barcode encoding should I choose?
If you have no requirements for the encoding, you can choose the default CODE128 auto, which is the most general encoding. If you need to generate a product barcode, you need to choose the EAN13 encoding. You only need to enter the first 12 digits, and the last digit is automatically generated. If you use it for circulating goods, you need to register with the Chinese National Barcode Center to apply for a company-specific barcode number range.
2. Can my barcode scan product names and prices?
The generated barcode is essentially just a string of simple numbers or letters. If you want to scan out other information (such as product information, logistics information), you need to record the information in the management system in advance and scan the barcode using a device that can connect to the management system. For example, when you use your phone to scan the barcode on a shipping label to view the shipping information, the phone actually scans the barcode to get the shipping label number, and then calls the shipping company's query interface to get the latest logistics information. The barcode itself does not contain logistics information.
3. Will the generated barcode be blurry when printed?
This website can output barcodes in image, PDF, and Excel formats. When printing, try to use a laser printer and set the print quality to high. PDF barcodes are vector graphics that can be infinitely scaled without blurring. 4. Can I find my previously generated barcodes? The barcode will be deleted automatically after 15 minutes after it is generated. Please download and save it in time. You can click the "Generate record" button below the input box to view the latest generation records.
